CALL TO ARTISTS
The Village at White River Junction is seeking the submission of artwork for purchase and installation in a state-of-the art, high-end senior living community currently under construction in downtown White River Junction, VT and scheduled to open in June 2018.
The five-story building has a wide range of amenity spaces that require artwork to complement the function and interior design of each specific space. The 12 primary spaces range from a striking entry lobby to intimate lounges and a rooftop game room/pub.
We plan to build a permanent collection that will include a wide range of artwork by student, amateur, emerging, and professional artists.
Priority will be given to living artists, working or residing in Vermont and New Hampshire.
The developer, Gates & Dickson, will lead the selection process in coordination with the interior design firm dpf Design Studio, both located in White River Junction, VT. Artwork will be purchased for permanent display.
The development, architectural and interior design team will make purchase decisions based on their judgment of the merit of each individual work and how it fits within the design aesthetic of each specific location within the building.
