Bald Eagles in Bethel
Sign of Life for Whitcomb’s Flood-Debris Covered Fields
Thursday, two large bald eagles sat peacefully on the Bethel/Whitcomb Athletic Fields with what might have been a catch out of the high water of the river curving around the field’s edge. The heavy winds did not seem to bother them as they stood on the ground. With the Spring-like weather we welcome back many signs of animal life.
The VT Fish & Wildlife Department recently put out warning to drivers - especially rainy nights are time of busy migration of frogs and amphibians.
