Price:  $30 for the full class or attend for a half class from 6 - 7 pm for $15.

Learn to play the djembe and dununs from a teacher who's people created the djembe and whose family makes djembes! 

Sayon Camara of Guinea, West Africa and Woodstock VT will share the traditional drumming, songs and stories of the village music of his people, the Malinke.

All levels are welcome to participate. Everyone will be made to feel welcome through Sayon's clear, gentle and joyous teaching. You may have heard the djembe played before but rarely will you witness the clarity and precision Sayon has mastered or experience the depth of knowledge he stewards.

If you need a drum to play during class ($5), please let us know by the Monday before the class you plan to attend.
