Facets: Meet Cristina. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body.
Cristina, Nurse at the VA.
Meet Cristina. She doesn't have a mean bone in her body.
Cristina was born in New London. She grew up in Alton with two brothers and a sister. They always had dogs. During high school, she ran track all year long. She got her first paying job at age 13 working in a seafood restaurant on the southern tip of Lake Winnipesaukee. She started working with special needs children in high school and she quickly found her calling. Her calling was - and remains - helping others.
Cristina went to Keene State to study nursing at 17. She completed her senior year working at the VA in White River Junction. She loves her job. She loves working with veterans. She's seen a lot of negative things in the media about how we take care of our veterans. She feels that veterans have done so much for all of us and that we ought to take care of them in return. Cristina is incredibly authentic and doesn't appear to have a mean bone in her body. She happily works at least one extra shift a week because she's needed.
Cristina met her boyfriend on Lake Winnipesaukee 6 years ago. He had only come East on a road trip and planned to return to California. He didn't. I guess he couldn't find a mean bone either.
Cristina and her boyfriend live in West Lebanon. When she's not working at the VA or helping her boyfriend with his restaurant, she likes to read, mostly non-fiction. Cristina is 24.
Place she really wants to go to: Cuba
Most romantic meal: BBQ in Westmoreland with her boyfriend
