You are invited! Slowly but surely the snow is melting away and it is just about time for the 2018 Tomten Tours to get underway. Yay! If you love animals, enjoy making a difference and are interested in finding out more about Tomten Farm and Sanctuary, this event is for you! Perhaps you want to find out how you can make get involved and make an impact or you are chomping at the bit to return and see old friends, the rescues that together, we saved. Maybe you just can't wait to see the progress of our barn and find out what's in store for the new year. Whatever the reason, you're invited to join us, for our first tour of 2018 and we can't wait to see you. Go ahead, grab your calendar and reserve the day - Sunday, June 10th at 12:30 pm and get us your rsvp. Go ahead, check us out on fb https://www.facebook.com/tomtenfarmandsanctuary/, share the event and bring your friends - let's make this the best Tomten Tour yet!

Kick off the Summer with some fun in the sun and spend an afternoon at one of your favorite rescues/sanctuaries. Get up close and personal with animals, hear their histories, and familiarize yourself with our mission, methods and philosophies. This is a great chance to find out about our volunteer and educational opportunities as well, all while immersing yourself in our beautiful farm located right here beside the beautiful White Mountains. Here are the details. Plan to arrive at 12:15. Our gate does not open until 12:15 (sorry, no earlier as we are preparing) and our tour begins promptly at 12:30. It is approximately an hour and a half (give or take a few minutes depending on questions) and of course, we hope you'll stay a little longer to enjoy the view, peruse and perhaps purchase our TF&S swag, spend a little extra time with the animals and have all of your questions answered. Gates close at 3:15  so we can clean up and get started on evening chores in a timely fashion. As with any event, structure makes it smoother, so there is necessary fine print. Head count is important and as always, this is RSVP only event. We apologize but WE CANNOT ACCEPT FB clicks, ”interested" or "going" as a formal response (but we absolutely love to see your enthusiasm and informal response). Please, please, please, email us at tomtenfarmandsanctuary@gmail.com, pm, call or text (617-331-8435) if you'll be coming (and be certain to let us know with who) so we can get your entire party on our roster and pass along our address. Should your plans change, please be sure to let us know so others may attend - tours often fill and we hate to say no to an inquiring visitor only to find there was actually room. We regret that no early birds, late arrivals or unexpected drop-ins are allowed as it detracts from the experience of others.

As always, there is no formal admission charge to join the fun, however, we humbly ask for contributions of any wish list item (items will be regularly posted in the comments of our event post on fb) or the gift of a monetary donation of any amount. It is a costly venture to keep this farm afloat and we can't care for the animals, operate our day-to-day, grow or host you, our fabulous guests at without the help and support of all who enjoy it.Security and safety is important to the well being of all at TF&S. We require a signed release and a photo ID to enter our property- no exceptions. I know it seems like a lot however, with children, animals and strangers at our personal home, it is important. Please print Tomten releases off the website (http://tomtenfarmandsanctuary.org/TomtenLiabilityForm.pdf) peruse at your leisure, sign and bring with you to the Tour.

Don't forget to RSVP, bring great energy and any and all questions you have about us, the animals or our upcoming plans. Whether it's your first visit or you're a returning supporter, we can't wait to have you visit! Neigh, quack, baaaa, meow, woof, cluck, oink, honk, maaa, bray and of course, moooo! See you soon!
