Recovery Support is Alive in Claremont!

Since the announcement in February that HOPE for NH Recovery would be closing most of their peer recovery centers, including the Claremont location, there has been a lot of confusion throughout the community in regards to the availability of peer support services in Claremont . Thanks to the collaborative efforts of several community providers these critical resources will continue to be available in Claremont to Sullivan County residents.

Maggie Monroe-Cassel, Executive Director of TLC FamilyResource Center has offered to have the organization serve as a fiscal sponsor for continuing these efforts. TLC will partner with Wayne Miller, a Certified Recovery Support Worker, who has been providing recovery and treatment-related services throughout the Upper Valley and Greater Sullivan County regions for the past 5 years.

As we continue to work to secure a new location for providing recovery resources, Wayne will be offering peer support meetings and open office hours for individual recovery coaching appointments at 169 Main Street in Claremont (the location of the former HOPE center).
