Ballet technique for the modern dancer will enhance movement ability by encouraging fluidity without rigidity. This class builds a foundation of basic ballet technique and uses it as a springboard for fuller, more expansive movement. Students will focus on the mind-body connection and develop useful imagery and movement vocabulary for connecting with themselves, the space, and each other, using the building blocks of classical steps and positions.
Ages 12 and up.
Beginner class- 4-5:30pm
Intermediate/ advanced- 5:30-7pm
