Congratulations To Windsor High School Girls & Boys Basketball!

The WHS Girls basketball team brought home the "gold" on Saturday, March 10th, defeating Thetford Academy 51-34 in the DIII State Final. The WHS Boys followed up on Saturday the 17th beating defending champions Williamstown 71-59 to earn the Boys DIII Title.

Deer/Moose population forum by VT Fish & WildlifeWednesday, March 21, 6:30pm Welcome Center learn more here Hunters, landowners and anyone else interested in deer and moose should plan on attending one of the Vermont Fish & Wildlife public hearings being held in March and May. The hearings will include results of Vermont’s 2017 deer and moose seasons and prospects for hunting next fall as well as an opportunity for people to provide their observations and opinions regarding deer and moose.  The hearings will also include a review of the proposed 2018 moose hunting season and an opportunity for the public to comment.

Keep all of your batteries out of the trash and recycle them in the five gallon bucket in the lobby entrance to the town offices. (Vehicle batteries should go to a mechanic or service station.) This is a pilot project by the Southern Windsor/Windham Counties Solid Waste Management District. Please call 674-9235 with questions and click here for more information about why and how.

Windsor PD offers finger print services

The Windsor Police Department will be available for fingerprint appointments on Thursday and Friday mornings, from 8:30am to 12:00pm, By Appointment Only. Appointments are scheduled in 15 minute increments. Please do not bring children or infants with you unless you have someone that can remain in the lobby area with them. Children are not allowed in the fingerprint room.
Requirements:
For Non-Criminal Live-Scan Digital Fingerprints: a signed and filled out Fingerprint Authorization Certificate, Photo Identification (U.S. Passport or Driver’s License), $25.00 Processing Fee (exact cash or check made out to: Town of Windsor). A receipt will be given.
For Non-Criminal Ink Fingerprints: Windsor Residents Only, Ink Cards, Photo Identification (U.S. Passport or Driver’s License), $25.00 Processing Fee (exact cash or check made out to: Town of Windsor).
