Story revised to include updated info and adding names of participating Hanover Lions volunteers.   See below paragraph :

Together we spoke to attendees about how Lions clubs are vital to our communities’ vision and hearing health, our involvement in local youth programs, our contributions towards hunger relief and newest area of service: diabetes education and research. We also, in spite of technical difficulties provided free vision screenings to roughly 50 individuals, 15 children under the age of 10. Our efforts were deeply appreciated, and we had fun... Bill Hammond juggled and hawked our 50/50; Carl chatted up the crowds... but Byron, one of several who tried, set the equipment right and saved the scanning piece of the event.

Thank you ALL!
