Lunch and Learn
The 1st Friday of the month from 12-1pm Open Door will host a speaker to talk about an aspect of health and wellness while you enjoy lunch catered by a local restaurant.
April- Understanding Stress and Anxiety
Stress sometimes feels like an unavoidable part of modern life, and difficulty managing stress can make it harder to meet your goals. In this Lunch and Learn, Dr. Bick will discuss the physical, emotional, and cognitive components of stress and anxiety. We’ll review psychological approaches to stress management, including how understanding the body’s natural “warning system” can make it easier to gain more control over worry.
There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion of issues surrounding stress, though this won’t be a forum for exploration into personal health issues.
