Most of our flowering woody plants bear beautiful and inconspicuous blooms that often go unnoticed. From the delicate, crimson petals of hazelnut to the snow-white blooms of wild cherry, this program uses slides and stories to present the flowers and intriguing means of pollination of some common trees and shrubs. Well-known author, environmentalist and storyteller Michael Caduto leads this program for general audiences, wildflower enthusiasts, naturalists and aficionados of botanical puns.
