If you are not already a registered voter in Windsor, you may register to vote on-line at the Secretary of State web-site, at the Town Clerk’s Office, or at the Polls (same day voter registration).   Any voter, family member or authorized person may request an early voter absentee ballot or vote in the Town Clerk’s Office, during regular business hours.  The Town Clerk’s Office is open Monday-Thursday 8:30 am to 5 pm.  Please feel free to call the office at (802)674-5610 if you would like to request an absentee ballot be mailed to you.  Sandra Hinkley Micka - Town Clerk

The ballot this year is quite long. To see a copy of the ballot click here. (Sorry for the sideways presentation.) The Selectboard, working with the Budget Committee approved a municipal budget to be presented for vote at this year’s Town Meeting. The proposed budget reflects an increase in spending of 2.56% requiring an expected 3.9% tax increase. The tax increase is greater than the spending increase because of a slight decrease in projected not-tax income. Documents associated with the budget process can be found here

While from year to year the budget change can be more pronounced on either the Town or school side, the overall rate is the priority as that is the rate that impacts the taxpayer.
