Surfin' Sato, Inc., a Norwich-based non-profit is partnering with Riverlight Builders, LLC. to conduct a service project in Puerto Rico this summer. Surfin' Sato is an animal welfare organization with a focus on education. Together with Riverlight Builders, a group of students and chaperones will rebuild an animal sanctuary that was destroyed in Hurricane Maria. High School aged students are welcome to apply and can earn 25 service credit hours during the trip.
We currently have room for 5 students.
Location: Rincon, Puerto Rico
Dates: June 24th - July 3rd
Cost: Fundraising requirement; room, board and project expenses are covered, participants purchase their plane ticket.
