Horton has been charged with felony possession of crack cocaine with the intent to distribute as well as felony possession of the controlled drug Alprazolam and a misdemeanor count of making a false statement to law enforcement.  Horton refused bail and was transported to the Grafton County House of Corrections pending an arraignment later today.

Horton's record in Vermont includes convictions for the theft of a car and car stereos when he was a teenager and a year-long stint in jail for two felony burglary convictions that followed a wave of break-ins from West Windsor to Springfield in which large amounts of scrap metal and copper wire were stolen.
