William Jackson has been a major figure in traditional Scottish music since he was a founding member of the influential folk group, Ossian, in 1976. Touring extensively for the past 15 years, Gráinne Hambly breaks the genteel parlor image of her instrument, elevating the Celtic harp right up there with the fiddles and pipes in the realm of dynamic Irish dance music. Rarely have Irish and Scottish music been arranged together with such finesse and creative success as by these two artists. Besides the contrasting and complimentary sounds and styles of the harps, their performances also include concertina, whistle, and bouzouki.
