Each term, our members ask office staff if there is a sure-fire way to guarantee that they receive placement in their desired courses. No staff member can guarantee absolute success for every registration, but the following tends to hold true term after term: Members who register online are more likely to get a seat in a popular class than members who submit a paper application. Think of it this way: Opening day for registration is a little like being in line at a highway toll booth. Members who register online are the cars in the EZ Pass lane. The minute the lanes open, they’re on their way. Members who submit a paper application are the cars in the “Exact Change Only” lane. Although the lanes both open at the same time, the "Exact Change Only" lane will probably go slower, meaning popular classes may fill up before you reach the front of the line.
