the Winter Olympics underway, many people are watching the fast growing sport
of curling. While it is easy to understand curling, to truly appreciate the
game you have to experience it.
The Upper Valley Curling Club will hold a Learn to Curl Clinic at the Barwood Arena in White River Junction on Saturday, February 24th from 5:45 to 8:00 pm. Experienced curlers will teach the basic elements of the game and students will get to practice on the ice. If there’s time we’ll get to play a short game. The club will provide all equipment, you just have to wear warm clothes and bring shoes with non-skid soles.
The Upper Valley Club plays regularly at the Barwood Arena and the club members want to share the game. Clinic cost is $25 per person for two hours of instruction and fun.
