LIVE Music at the Hay Loft at Artistree
The Jeremiah McLane Trio
It's always a treat to go to Artistree in South Pomfret and enjoy LIVE music. On Friday night, January 26th, the Jeremiah McLane Trio preformed to a packed crowd in the HayLoft. This group produced such excitement that some hopeful audience members were turned away at the door once the room reached capacity.
Jeremiah, on accordion and piano, Corey DiMario on base, and guitarist Eric McDonald charmed and delighted us with many numbers from traditional folk to dance tunes from France, England, Scotland, and Quebec. Some of the pieces were original compositions by McLane, and his gentle and lilting touch on the piano was almost magical. With McLane's vast musical background, I was proud to hear he's a local resident.
The Trio created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that drew the audience into a relaxed community. It was easy to get to know the people around me during intermission as we chatted about the music and our backgrounds. The Jeremiah McLane Trio certainly had the power to pull people together.
Although no coming performances were listed on their website, The Jeremiah McLane Trio are worth following. I hope you'll have an opportunity to hear them perform. Jeremiah McLane Trio
