Wednesday night? Nothing to do?
Has winter got you down? Are you all alone with nothing to do? Ready for the weekend but it's only Wednesday? I have an idea for you!
Skunk Hollow Tavern in Hartland's Four Corners is THE place to be on Wednesday night for LIVE music! Why LIVE music? Frank Zappa, one of the greatest guitarists of all times, explained the magical spark of the LIVE performance. "The real fun of playing is playing live... every night is spontaneous... (it's) a unique situation that never happened before and will never happen again..."
Call and reserve a place at the bar, or a shared table downstairs by the music. (If you don't reserve, you probably won't get a table, but you can still hang out.) As you order your dinner (That's sure to be delicious!), you'll notice Jim Yeager and friends setting up for Open Mic night.
Open Mic begins at 8:00 and lasts until midnight. Some of the best musicians from all over the Upper Valley squeeze onto the miniature stage to share unbelievable tunes with the intimate crowd that packs into this 1790 pub.
Every Wednesday night is unique. So turn off the tube, put on your shoes, and go!
