Norwich Lions Test Vision at KAF Health Fair
On Thursday, Jan 18, King Arthur Flour held an employee health fair. Over 150 people participated with more than a dozen vendors present.
The Norwich Lions Club was asked to conduct vision screening. The club tested 57 people. Twenty one had a need for a follow-up.
"I was advised by KAF fair organizers that our club's participation and that of a dozen or so vendors exceeded their expectations," said Gary De Gasta, past president of the Norwich Lions. In addition, about a dozen Lions worked at the fair.
Visions screening is a core piece of the Lion's community service program.
