Outdoor Fun this Winter

If you're like me and haven't cross country skiied since you were a kid, you might consider yourself a newbie. Here are some places to give it a go; a lot of offer rentals and groomed trails.

You can also participate in other outdoorsy activities like dog sledding or exploring the sculpture gardens in the winter.

With a two year old, this is more my type of activity right now. Attend a free clinic or outing with the LL Bean store. Upcoming activities include stargazing and essential knots. I may not ever have a use for the knots I learn, but man that sounds fascinating!
