Norwich Lions Present Awards
The Norwich Lions Club recently held their annual Xmas dinner/meeting at Jessie’s restaurant in Hanover, New Hampshire. The Xmas/Holiday dinner is a time for all Lions members and their spouses/guests to come together and enjoy an evening without the usual business meeting format.
This year’s event was a special occasion in that we honored two people in the audience for their achievements. They were presented with the Melvin Jones Fellowship Award. This is the highest award that a member can receive and is given to honor them for their performance and good deeds.
Lion Brion McMullan received the Melvin Jones Award for his many achievements and dedication to the Norwich Lions Club.
Nancy Osgood, spouse and widow of Bill Osgood was here to receive the Melvin Jones Award for Bill for his many years as a Lion, and specifically for his tireless efforts to assist with the Norwich Fair in the Hospitality tent.

Ciaran Geraghty and his wife Rachael walked in the restaurant thinking they were attending the Xmas party along with everyone else, however were immediately surprised with the baby shower. They are expecting their first child in February, 2018.
