HANOVER – Commercial estate broker Chip Brown, formerly with Norton Asset Management, Inc., has opened his own commercial brokerage and advisory firm, BCR | Brown Commercial Realty LLC.
“Bill Norton and Norton Asset Management have been wonderful to work with. Done well, our business is about creating value for our clients and doing the right thing internally and externally. Bill Norton has done this at every turn and I will be forever grateful for his support and association. As Bill nears retirement and is spending more time on advisory, I thought it was the appropriate time to hang my own flag. I hope to carry forward the same culture”. Brown said in a news release.
Brown, of Etna, is a 30+ year veteran of the commercial real estate business. He holds a BA in Architecture from Hampshire College and a Masters in Real Estate Development from Columbia University. He currently serves on Lebanon’s Economic Vitality Committee, is a member of the Lebanon Chamber of Commerce, Hanover Chamber of Commerce, Hanover Rotary, New Hampshire Commercial Investment Board of Realtors (CIBOR), Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and former 7-year member of the Hanover Affordable Housing Commission.
