Many older adults experience concerns about falling and may restrict their activities in response to this fear. A Matter of Balance is an award-winning program designed to manage falls and increase activity levels. This eight-week course will facilitate group discussion to reduce the fear of falling and implement practical strategies to avoid falls and improve safety. It includes some very light exercises. You should attend this class if you are concerned about falls; are interested in improving your balance, flexibility and strength; have fallen in the past; or have restricted your activities because of concerns related to falling.
