Join the Co-op for this special event to kick off our new theme for 2018 “Less is More”. This is a great workshop for those looking to try Tai Chi for the first time or those who are in practice looking for a different venue. Stefan will be teaching techniques like: utilizing breath, body alignment, and sequential relaxation/expansion of the body to improve movement precision while minimizing wasted energy. Lesson will cover learning the first movements of the Yang form and qi gong techniques that will give you a “base” out of which brings improved vitality and reduced tension to all of the muscles of the body. This is a full body 60 minute workout of continuous movement. Yet Tai Chi remains gentle on the body’s joints because it brings attention to optimizing the structural alignment, elasticity, and overall fluidity of the body. Leave class feeling refreshed, vital and calm. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that you can move easily in. This is a one time offering but we are willing to continue providing an adequate interest level.
