Windham County was focus of this week's arrests

BRATTLEBORO - Seven Brattleboro residents were arrested this week by the Vermont Drug Task Force as part of what was described as an on-going investigation into the sale of heroin and cocaine around Windham County.

    Detectives were assisted by members of the Brattleboro Police Department and the Vermont Department of Probation and Parole.

    All of the suspects were issued citations requiring them to formally answer the charges at arraignments in February.

     Lisa Gendron, 24; Myles Nails, 21; Jocelyn Pond, 28, and Devon Longueil, 24, were each charged with a single count of sale of cocaine.

    Samantha Poirier, 26, was charged with a single count of sale of heroin.

    Rachel Gauthier, 47, and Sarah Cassell, 30, were both charged with two counts apiece of sale of heroin.
