Hartford and Bethel suspects charged with drug sales

Windsor County busts were set up by the Vermont Drug Task Force

HARTFORD - Two Hartford men and a third suspect from Bethel were arrested on Friday as part of what was described as an on-going investigation into drug sales around Windsor County that was carried out by the Vermont Drug Task Force.

     Tyler Taitague, 25, of Bethel was charged with a single count of sale of heroin and Lance Goodwin, 36, of Hartford Vermont was charged with a single count of sale of a narcotic.

    Dale Coughlin, 28, of Hartford Vermont was charged a single count each of both sale of heroin and sale of a narcotic.  Coughlin also picked up a probation violation as a result of the new charges and was lodged at the Springfield jail as a result.

    All three men were issued citations ordering them to answer the charges at arraignments which were all scheduled for the morning of February 6 at the courthouse in downtown White River Junction.

    Investigators said the Vermont Drug Task Force was assisted by the Hartford Police Department and the Vermont State Police Royalton Barracks.
