Is there a story you want to tell? Is there a project you want to start?

The world is increasingly busy with distractions; it’s hard to find time for personal and important goals.

Some people blame the Internet for the frenzy, but you can also use the Internet to focus an ambition and make it happen.

With the Internet, you can reach people like never before. You can share your history with your extended family around the country. You can publish recipes or poems or photographs for your friends. You can gather a group to make a video or start a business or help the community.

There is no better resource for communication and project-planning than the Internet. Too many of us don't use the Internet well and are instead used by it.

I love New Hampshire. I’ve gone back and forth between New York City and the White Mountains all my life. I used to love to focus and create and reflect in the quiet country and then connect with the world and share my ideas in the big city.

Now we can all connect and share our ideas from anywhere.

For eight years now, I’ve taught all kinds of people how to use the Internet the way they want. I’m teaching an Osher course this winter to help people in the Upper Valley discover and focus and share their ideas and projects with their audiences.
