Lebanon Is Jumping, And It’s Not Just The Coffee
It’s happening in Lebanon--theater, dance, and the visual arts at the AVA Gallery that are beautiful to browse.
The Holiday Exhibition at AVA never disappoints. Lots to savor—jewelry, clothing, paintings, sculpture. Are you or a loved one planning to see the winter in with tea or other beverages? Beautiful one-of-a-kind cups (below) are on display. Artist Evie Watts sees them as multipurpose, calling them “tea cups, whiskey/wine sippers, thingamajig vessels.” Featured photo, above, is Seekers Maquette, the work of artist Susan H. Wilson.
Starting on Friday, December 15, watch the unfolding of the New England premiere of Yeast Nation: The Triumph of Life at the Lebanon Opera House. It’s directed by Jonathan Verge and stars Lebanon High School students. Read more about the production here, and see below for info regarding times and tickets. If you are a senior (in age) , you can see Yeast Nation for free.
Not too late for this weekend’s Clara’s Dream: A Nutcracker Story. More information is available here on the website of the City Center Ballet.
