Member Spotlight: Great Eastern Radio

Submitted a year ago

Great Eastern Radio changes The River radio program from 106.7 to 93.9.

The River can now be found at radio channel 93.9 while KOOL-FM switches places to 106.7. Great Eastern Radio, a Local First Alliance business member, has swapped two of their radio stations to increase coverage against competitor The Point network. The change was made in hopes that a lower dial position with a more powerful signal will satisfy listeners who found it difficult to hear The River station when outside of Lebanon, Hanover, Hartford, Quechee, Lyme, and Enfield.

With the change The River is expected to easily reach a 30-plus mile radius of the Lebanon market. The River provides on-air personalities between 6 a.m. and midnight along with adult album alternative music. Tune into The River now at 93.9 and KOOL-FM at 106.7.
