Allegedly interfered with an elderly patient's ability to breathe
LEBANON - A Lebanon LNA has been charged with felony second-degree assault against an 88-year-old woman who was a patient at the Lebanon branch of Genesis ElderCare Center following an investigation that began on Saturday, Lebanon Police are reporting.
Kareen McGregor, 50, of Lebanon allegedly poured water over the elderly woman's head and face and then placed clothing around her head and neck in an effort to impede her breathing, according to the police report.
McGregor was arrested later on a warrant and charged with the felony assault count as well as an accompanying count of misdemeanor simple assault before she was released on $7,500 personal recognizance bail. She is scheduled to appear at the Grafton County Superior Court for arraignment on December 4, 2017.
