As always I love going to visit the Plainfield Pumpkin PeopleThis year was no exception.  It's not too late to check them out like the featured image on Bean Rd.  The pumpkin people will run until Halloween.

Each year is different.  As I traveled along Stage Road, I found mix of last year's participants and new ones.  I was continually surprised .This was such a fun time to drive around; they made me smile.   Plus, as the fall continues new ones pop up.  Like the star trek themed one I didn't see earlier on.  So you're in luck if you go visit the next few days because you'll get to see them all if you want.

Some roads have more than others so I thought it would be helpful for you to know how many you might see on a road and where some really entertaining ones might be.

There were many down Route 120 I liked, but I couldn't get a photo of them.  I especially liked the pumpkin person in the lawn chair.  Here are some funny ones: photo 1, photo 2.

Here's the driving route I took from Lebanon and took about 40-45 min. (with quick picture taking...)

Drive down Route 120.

Turn Left on Bean Road (about 3 on this short road)

Turn Around at the Y. Then go across the street to Main St / Willow Brook Rd.  (lots on this road in the first 5-10 min.)

I turned around after a while, but not before I got a quick shot of Hugh Hefner (hehe).

On my way back I took a Right down Bonner Road (a few on this short road that makes a nice loop)

Then I took a Right onto Stage Road

This is a long road that goes to 12A.  There were not as many as last year from what I remember, but I thought it was worth it for the cute ones I saw and the connection to 12A with lots of funny ones.

I found the Peanuts Cartoon one amusing (this house always has creative pumpkin people.)

12A

Check out these other funny ones on 12A: photo 1, photo 2.

You can see a map of all the road locations here, which I found super helpful.

So to see the most I would recommend Rt. 120 to Stage Road to 12A or vice versa as the best loop.
Other roads with really creative and entertaining pumpkin people: a couple on Hayward Road, and County Road.

To see last year's fun check out my post here.
