Trick or Treating

This will be the first year my little one can really enjoy the experience and people often recommend the trick or treating at the Powerhouse Mall in West Lebanon from 4-6 pm and then go to the fire station on the green for their Halloween Open House.  Trick or treating around town starts at 6 pm and goes until 8 pm.

You can also try these top spots people recommend.

Sunrise Village in Quechee on Hartland Road by the Shell Station off Route 4/Gilson Road has a lot of kids who trick or treat there.  Woodstock closes down High Street so you can loop around the village.  If you want to donate candy to help the cause the police station and town hall collect donations to help offset the extensive cost to families who have trick or treaters from all around join in the fun.

Colonial Drive in Wilder is a lovely neighborhood loop.  There's a big haunted house on the road that people recommend.

Seminary Hill, some houses 'go all out.' Elm Street and School Street are popular streets to trick or treat on.  There will be a haunted house on Elm Street.  Eldridge Street also has houses decorated and a fun place to trick or treat.

One person recommended Plainfield. Trick or treat along Main Street where all the houses are decorated for Halloween.
