The Billings Farm & Museum, gateway to Vermont’s rural heritage, will host the 33rd Annual Harvest Weekend on October 7 and 8, from 10am to 5pm, at 69 Old River Road, Woodstock, VT 05091; 802-457-2355.
This is a traditional Vermont harvest celebration complete with a husking bee and barn dance featuring live music, cider pressing, harvesting root vegetables, ‘putting food by,’ shelling beans, fence building, apples-on-a-string, 19th Century games and more, plus our famous hot-spiced cider and homemade doughnuts.
Help the farm prepare for the winter months during our traditional Vermont celebration. Learn how they harvest root vegetables, the key to preserving and storing food long-term.
Admission includes all programs and activities.
