A 5K, 10K, and Fun Run to benefit the Sharon Farm to School program.  $20.  12 under free. Click here for more info.

9 am Farnum 5.5 Mile in Lebanon

Sunday, Sept. 10th 

7 am - 9 am 5K Fun Run: Run Like You're on Fire Tour 

The 5K Fun Run is free and will be in Warner to raise awareness for two wonderful organizations that help veterans: Boot Campaign and Retrieving Freedom.  Boot Campaign sells military boots to civilians to promote conversation about supporting our military and Retrieving Freedom trains dogs to help veterans, children with autism, and people with diabetes.  Retired SSG Bobby Henline is touring the country participating in fun runs to help support these two organizations.  You can donate directly to Boot Campain, Retrieving Freedom, or Bobby Henline's page where he also supports veterans who are public speakers.   Bobby spent four tours in Iraq and was injured during his fourth tour.  During his recovery he found a gift for comedy and uses it to uplift others.  To read more about Bobby's adventures inspiring others on his tour, check out his Facebook page.  You can also read more about the event here.

10 am 5K Walk/Run in Hartford

This run celebrates the 50th anniversary of Health Care and Rehabilitation Services of Windsor and Windham Counties.  $20.  5K starts at 10:30 am and the free fun run/walk starts at 10 am for anyone wanting to participate who cannot complete the 5K.  For more info. click here.

10 am Tour de Taste Bike Ride: A Pedaling Picnic

Choose one of three ride lengths (6, 21, or 31 miles).  The tour has rides for families with young riders and more advanced routes.  Taste local food from local farms and restaurants at stops along the way.  To register and find out more, click here.

12 pm - 4 pm Capture the Flags Game Course and Golf Clinic in Hanover
