More about the music: Heyday is "a contradance band with Quebecois, Cajun, Irish, and Southern influences... playing a mash up of Cajun, Southern, Irish and French Canadian. Drawing from these traditions and bending their boundaries, Heyday exuberantly provides a boulevard of groove for dancers. While guitarist George White lays down a funky neoteric foundation for the band, Jonathan Larkin, Cajun accordion player to brings on the southern dance hall excitement and the twin fiddles of Amy Larkin and Shirley White bring in fresh and tight driving harmonies."
