Have you struggled to have a healthy relationship with food? Have you tried many diets over the years and found it hard to keep weight off after so much abstinence? Maybe you've sensed that what's needed is to truly transform your relationship to eating, and yet you don't know HOW to do so successfully, and sustainably, over time.
Eat Right Now (ERN) is a new mindful eating program that addresses these issues. It combines mindfulness training with daily coaching delivered in the form of a popular and easy-to-use app. The program transforms deeply ingrained habits around eating and helps you create new, healthy, individualized eating habits. In this program, your life becomes your learning lab and the weekly class an opportunity to unpack it all with a trained facilitator and other folks with similar goals.
ERN was created by Dr. Judson Brewer, addiction scientist and director of research at the UMass Medical School Center for Mindfulness, the birthplace of Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR). ERN is not a diet plan, but it can help make any diet plan more effective.
Enrolling in the ERN app is required for the class. The app costs $25/month or $100/6 months and requires a smartphone for access. The class fee does not include enrollment in the app.
This series will be held on Tuesdays, May 1st through June 5th.
