Now that the rain has cleared and summer is back to being its usual fabulous self, we thought we would take the time to help you make the most of your weekend.

What's the first basic need?

Now that it is finally starting to feel like summer again, there's nothing quite like an afternoon creemee. (Okay, okay soft serve if you don't live in VT. The politics are tense on this one.) If you're anywhere near Hartford, there's a new ice cream place to quell those cravings. Check it out.

Make these today: Picnic Brownies. Chock-full of peanuts and chocolate these are great for an afternoon picnic, hike or day on the lake.

Calling all theatre lovers! West Side Story will be at the New London Barn Playhouse.

It's that time of year again. Blueberry picking! Cedar Circle is now open for PYO. Grab your Tupperware or mason jars and get to picking.

Going for that cozy movie theatre vibe? The movie of the week you should definitely see is: Spider-man Homecoming. In blogger Movie Hole's latest review he calls it "witty, while also being very geeky at the same time...(the movie) gets just about everything right about the character and his mythos, and it’s loads of fun as well."

Recently moved or on the hunt for furniture? From now until August 24th Copeland Furniture is offering FREE delivery in Vermont and New Hampshire. That means no extra trips to the chiropractor this month!

Who said Happy Hour had to be Monday - Friday? Have a Happy Saturday or Sunday at The Lyme Inn with $3 drafts and half-priced apps.

Team up with Great River Outfitters or LL Bean Discovery school! Camp close to home on an Island on the Connecticut River or just spend the day on the water.

Looking to spend some quality time with the pup. Here's 8 dog-friendly walks around the Upper Valley.
