A Concert to Benefit the Townhouse Steeple Restoration
The Strafford Townhouse Benefit Music Series welcomes Jeremiah McLane and Timothy Cummings (a.k.a. Wheezer & Squeezer), with special guest, Alex Kehler, for the third Save the Steeple concert on Friday, July 14 at 7 pm.
An energetic Vermont-based group who share music deeply rooted in the traditional dance repertoire of Northern Europe and North America, Wheezer & Squeezer draw from a broad repertoire that includes bourrées from Central France, gavottes from Brittany in Northwestern France, dance tunes from the Scottish Lowland & Border region, and original compositions reflecting North American influences. Known throughout New England and Canada for their musicianship and stage presence, this rare, captivating duo commands both feet and spirits to dance!
Tickets for Wheezer & Squeezer with Alex Kehler are $20 at the door. Proceeds from the show will go toward restoring the steeple of the Strafford Townhouse.
Come enjoy an evening of great music at one of the most beautiful venues in Vermont!
