Woodstock Police Respond To Stabbing Incident

July 3

At 9:24 a.m. a wallet was found on store property on Pleasant Street.


At 12:21 pm. police responded to Prospect Street for a report of a small dog that broke out of the house and ran around the lawn, near the road. The dog then ran into the bushes and started growling.


At 1:19 p.m. a 62-year-old woman fell after drinking about a half-gallon of vodka and needed transportation to a hospital.


At 2 p.m. police responded to the Woodstock Pharmacy where a man was being aggressive toward customers. The man walked down the street and started yelling at people.

At 12:11 a.m. police responded to River Road for a report of fireworks being set off on Mt. Tom.


At 12:45 pm. police responded to Golf Avenue. A caller wanted police to come to his house with a decibel meter because there was a loud noise that sounded like a large fan on Maple Street. The caller didn’t mind the fan most days, but this was a holiday,.


At 11:46 a.m. a debit card was found on the floor of a village business.


July 5

At 6:43 p.m. police responded to a River Street. A 90-year-old woman was trying to call her family but dialed the wrong number. She wasn’t feeling well and wanted to talk with her son.


At 7 p.m. police were requested to assist Bridgewater for a domestic situation involving a weapon.


At 8 p.m. a person was concerned about her mother who appeared to have been scammed.


July 6

At 9:17 a.m. credit cards were found at Norman Williams Public Library.


At 6:17 p..m.  a man called 911 and reported that his nephew had stabbed him. The was traveling to the Woodstock Police Department for assistance. The incident occurred in Bridgewater.


At 439 pm. police responded to Central Street where a 20-year-old woman fainted.


At 9:30 p.m. Hartford police were concerned about a resident and requested a welfare check on Church Hill Road.

At 10:48 p.m. a female had a seizure and needed transportation.


July 7

At 1:39 p.m. police checked on a registered sex offender on Westerdale Road. The individual couldn’t be located.


At 1:40 p.m. police checked on a registered sex offender on Curtis Hollow Road. The individual couldn’t be found.


At 2:32 p.m. police responded to Court Street where a dog was inside a parked car.


At 10:19 p.m. drugs were found inside a vehicle during a traffic stop on Elm Street.


July 9

At 7:40 p.m. police responded to Church Hill Road where an 8-year-old had a head injury. The boy was also having seizure activity.


July 10

At 9:47 a.m. police responded to East Woodstock Road where a caretaker for a residence said the front door was damaged due to a possible burglary.


At 8:30 p.m. police responded to Barnard Road for a report of a bear in a tree near the caller’s home. The bear has been getting into the trash.
