Final Results of 2017 Bassmaster Junior National Championship
NH Team moves up in standings after Day 2/Final Day of competition!
Apologies for not getting this final results post published earlier. I am, however, happy to report that the NH duo finished strong on Day 2 of the Bassmaster Junior National Championship, and made it home in time to fish in another local fishing tournament that weekend! These guys are dedicated, as well as talented.

The NH Junior Team of Cole Moulton (of Enfield, NH) & Ryder Whitworth pulled in the maximum amount of 5 fish on Day 2, weighing a total of 7 lbs, 14 oz. In case you wondered, they fished with Big 10 inch Texas rig worms.
Their final two-day total weight of 15 lbs, 15 oz was a great showing and earned them 6th place in the national tournament. The tournament had a total of 51 teams and 101 anglers, representing 28 states and Canada. At the tournament, the Juniors were told that being there meant that they were in the top 10% of fishermen in their age group. Great job!

The boys and coach Eric Moulton would like to thank everyone who helped get them to the national championship: Junior Bassmasters and NH BASS, all their family and friends who contributed to help fund the trip, and everyone who was cheering them on.
They gave shout outs and more thanks to their sponsors: Upper Valley Weekend Warriors Bass fishing club, Mickey's Roadside Cafe, Pinnacle Tackle, and Jase Rods. Thanks also to Quantum Rods and Reels and 2nd Wind Outfitters in Keene, NH for hooking the boys up with discounts on their fishing equipment.
Fun side note: the team followed up this tournament with what else...more fishing!
Cole and Ryder came in first place in a CT River tournament with 11.65 lbs total weight, including Cole's biggest fish of the day. (Saturday, June 24)
On Sunday, June 25 the Moultons fished the Upper Valley Weekend Warriors tournament on Sunapee. Eric Moulton and younger son Tanner finished in second place with 10.92 lbs.
Cole Moulton and family friend Colby finished in third place with 10.74 lbs.
This is the 3rd post in a series about Enfield, NH 12-year-old Cole Moulton as he represents the NH Jr. Bassmasters in the Bassmaster Junior National Championship.
