Noah Comes Home
Rising Star Noah Kahan to Perform Benefit for Strafford Townhouse, Followed by a Strafford Summer Birthday Party!
The Strafford Townhouse Save the Steeple Benefit Music Series is proud to welcome Strafford's own Noah Kahan this Thursday July 6 at 7pm at the Townhouse.
Kahan's folk pop sound has been compared to Ed Sheeran, Passenger, and Paul Simon. His first single, "Young Blood," racked up almost 5 million plays on Spotify in less than 6 months. Only 20 years old, Noah has already toured with Ben Folds, Milky Chance, and Anderson East, and will go on the road with the Strumbellas this fall.
Impose Magazine says, "Noah has been on a serious roll in the last few months music-wise...his passion is palpable in his work, something only magnified by ...."Young Blood," a slower tempo track that displays his gorgeous, sometimes raspy, vocal range almost perfectly. The sound he has created with this track alone gives you one of those heart-opening, positive feelings that can inspire you to move mountains."
Tickets for the concert are $20 at the door, $10 for students. All proceeds to toward restoring the steeple of the Strafford Townhouse.
If you have a summer birthday, let us sing to you after the show. We'll have birthday cake from Brook Road Catering. Come enjoy some fantastic music and birthday cake at our one and only Townhouse!
