The Town of Hartford seeks an experienced Information Technology (IT) professional responsible for the provisioning, installation, configuration, operation, maintenance, and support of the Town of Hartford’s Information Technology (IT) hardware and software infrastructure. Key responsibilities include the administration of servers, desktops, websites, email, printers, phones, access controls, and department specific databases and applications as well as IT budget development/management and long-term planning.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience implementing, supporting, and administering IT/business systems as well as a demonstrated record of success working positively with the public, staff, budget development/management, exceptional problem solving and planning skills, and the ability to establish and implement long-term vision and goals together with a commitment to provide quality services. Must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university preferably in the field of Computer Science, Information Technology (or related discipline).
