Upper Valley Local Libraries are Amazing

Local libraries in the Upper Valley are sponsoring special summer reading events to promote their Summer Reading Program all are around the theme: Build a Better World

My local library doesn't have a story time or any local events for children anymore (as far as I know based on email updates and their limited website).  So I wanted to know if other libraries had events I could travel to take my son to.  I hit the jackpot.  We are so lucky to have so many wonderful learning opportunities in the area for our children.  Now you can see all there is to offer too.  I have made a calendar of all the events for you to choose what is best for you and your family.

The Summer Reading Program

Your child can participate in the summer reading program where they keep track of their reading and work towards a goal and celebrate at the end.  During the summer the local libraries have special events that are free and open to all ages.  You don’t have to be participating in the summer reading program to enjoy.  A lot of the programs are developed for ages 5-11.

General Summer Schedule by Day

On any given day you can find a special activity to attend.
