Construction Starts Next Week at Bridge and North Main
In a public notice from the town of Hartford, Estes & Gallup announces:
On or about June 5, 2017 construction activities will begin on the new Bridge and Main Building located at the corner of Bridge and North Main Streets in White River Junction. The overall project duration is approximately 8 months.
In order to safely construct the building there will be several vehicular and pedestrian changes along Bridge and North Main Streets.
North Main Street:
The existing parking spaces along the north side of the street will be utilized for construction operations. A row of jersey barriers will be placed at the outboard edge of the parking spaces. Traffic flow will remain the same. This area will be used for most deliveries and access to the project site.
Jersey barriers will be installed along the centerline of the street from North Main Street to the entrance of Railroad Row. Traffic will be one way only leading from the north to the south (Railroad Row to North Main Street). As the building line is right up to the pedestrian sidewalk that goes along Bridge Street, that sidewalk will need to be temporarily closed during the initial months of construction. The walk way will be relocated in to the closed roadway portion of Bridge Street.
It is our intent to make any disruptions as minimal as possible, but understand that construction activities can be disruptive, particularly during the early part of the work. Please contact our office at 603-795-4400 with any questions.
