Cited for misdemeanor heroin and cocaine possession

WESTMINSTER, VT - A Hartford man is due to face arraignment for possession of misdemeanor amounts of heroin and cocaine following a traffic stop that took place Sunday evening on Interstate 91 northbound in southern Vermont.

    Peter Wiggins, 34, was a passenger in the vehicle that was pulled over around 10 p.m. in the town of Westminster, Vermont State Police Trooper Sean Reilly reported.

    After the drugs were allegedly discovered in Wiggins' possession he was taken to the Westminster State Police Barracks and fingerprinted and photographed before being issued a citation to answer the charges at an arraignment scheduled for June 20th at the Windham County Courthouse in Brattleboro.
