After losing a tough, low scoring 2-1 game at Brattleboro Thursday night, the Hurricanes bounced back at Fair Haven Saturday morning with 12 runs on 9 hits to beat the Slaters 12-7 and improve to 3-1 on the season.  The Canes used a 6 run 5th inning to take command in this one after the Slaters had briefly taken a 5-4 lead after 4 innings.

The Hurricanes added to their lead in the top of the 2nd when Tyler Hamilton drove in a run with his 2nd double of the game, this one over the center fielders head.

Hunter Perkins, Austin Gaudette, Riley Packard & Kyle Hamilton each added hits for the Hurricanes.

Fair Haven’s Parker Morse went 4-5 with an RBI & 3 runs scored & Cody Seaver added 2 hits & 2 RBI’s.
