Lucky's Coffee Garage To Open In Lebanon NH
. . . in the historic Roy's Auto Service location.
Deb Shinnlinger is bringing coffee to downtown Lebanon NH and she's doing it in a soon-to-be refurbished space currently occupied by Roy's Auto Service, just off of Colburn Park. Lucky's Coffee Garage is scheduled to open in June 2017, and will feature coffee, espresso, teas, artisanal toast made with King Arthur products, baked goods that will be made in-house, and fresh soup.
Lucky's will have seating for 48, with some outside seating in the summer months. Take out service, including some grab and go items, will be available along with counter service. Shinnlinger will include some vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free options on the menu. She plans to open 6 days a week, Monday through Saturday, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Once the business is up and running, evening hours may be a possibility.
Shinnlinger is the new proprietor of Lucky's Coffee Garage.
Roy's Auto Service has a long and distinguished history in Lebanon and throughout the Upper Valley. In addition to the vehicle repair service, until recently, Roy's was the only place--to my knowledge--where someone would still pump your gas. It was always a treat in which I indulged whenever I passed through Lebanon with an near-empty tank.
Shinnlinger ran a café in Oregon in the 1990s. After returning to the east coast, she missed the coffee culture of the west, and is excited to open in this historic space. By way of introduction, she describes herself as someone with a varied job history: hospital management, artist, preschool teacher, and meat cutter. She can also teach you how to hula hoop.
Lebanon is the town where I live. I hope to see you at Lucky's Coffee Garage this summer.
