5 Events That Will Cure Your Winter Blues This Saturday
Are you itching for spring-like weather yet? Me too. We're stuck in that season limbo when the snow melts but the sun isn't quite warm enough yet. There's a lot to do to cure your winter blues this weekend. If you have kids, take them Easter egg hunting! There's concerts, classes and more on our events calendar.

EASTER EGG HUNT
Refreshments, raffles and arts and crafts. FREE and open to the community.Bring a basket for collecting eggs! The Easter bunny will make an appearance!
ANOTHER EASTER EGG HUNT
There will be games, face painting, baked goods, and an Easter egg hunt on the front green. The cost of this event is by donation and all proceeds will help support the Hartford High School class of 2020.
MARMALADE COOKING CLASS
New series of hands-on classes in the art of fine preserve making by one of the nation’s leading artisans. Each class makes a special variety preserve, marmalade or chutney using the finest seasonal produce and includes preparation, cooking, “setting” and safe canning practices. Take home a complimentary recipe sheet, a jar of the variety made together in class, and enjoy 15 percent off all purchases on day of class in the specialty preserves shop.
DOWD’S COUNTRY INN SPRING FLING
An evening of Music, Mingling & Hors D’oeuvres, including Tomato, Basil & Mozzarella Canapé Spoon Display, Latham House Hummus, Upper Valley Cheese Board, Thai Beef Tenderloin Skewers, Lump Crab Caked, Tensen Farms Lamb Lollipops, Stuffed Cremini Mushrooms, Cumberland Sausage Rolls, Sun-dried Tomato & VT Goat Cheese Crostini, Raspberry Baked Brie.
THE BLUES PROJECT
Tap dancer/choreographer Michelle Dorrance leads her company in a tribute to the indigenous American arts of tap and the blues. Blending street, club and experimental dance, the dancers weave, glide and leap in solo or group formations.
