Fugitive Sought by Sheriff’s Department
Allegedly Violated Conditions of Probation
NEWPORT, NH--Sheriff John Simonds of the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Department has released the following information regarding a fugitive from the county. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of this individual is asked to contact their local police department.
Fugitive: Neville Walker
LKA: 261 Hurd Road, Lempster, NH
Description: height: 6ʼ1”, weight: 150 lbs., eyes: brown, hair: brown
Reason: Failure to appear in court for a violation of probation. Original charge: Sale of the controlled drug heroin
On February 18, 2015, the Sullivan County Grand Jury indicted Neville Walker for the sale of a controlled drug; Heroin, a Class B Felony.
On June 1, 2015 he was sentenced in Sullivan County Superior Court. As part of the sentence, Walker was placed on probation.
On January 31, 2017, a violation of probation was filed with the Sullivan County Superior Court by the NH Probation Department. It is alleged that Walker violated the conditions of probation.
On March 09, 2017, Walker failed to appear in Sullivan County Superior Court, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
